Genshin impact is an action game, developed and published by MiHoYo. It can be played on Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, 5, and Windows too. The animated game features an open-world environment and uses elemental magic and character-switching amidst the battlefield. Its latest update is version 3.5, to be launched in March 2023.
Storyline
Traveler and her twin travel across different worlds and finally arrive in Teyvat. They are separated by God who claimed to be, the sustainer of heavenly principles. Traveler, with his companion Paimon then goes on in search of his twin.
Seven elements with seven Gods, called Archons, hold dominion over Anemo, Geo, electro, dendro, hydro, pyro, and cryo, the seven elements. Gods-Archons rule over the world and mortals who prove their mettle are granted an elemental vision.
The game’s protagonist, Traveler on a quest to find his sibling, gains the power to tap into the elements. He undergoes loads of challenges and achieves impossible feats; in turn, giving the story interesting turns. Every version introduces new characters, and adventures, adds to the plot, to keep the player hooked till the end.
Dehya: A Warrior
Dehya, a mercenary hails from the deserts of Sumeru, called Great Red Sand. She is a well-known and powerful Eremite, also called Flame Mane, and possesses pyro vision. It is suspected she will be a 5-star, Pyro Claymore User.
Physically, Dehya is a tall well-built woman, with cat ears. Her attire is black and red with gold accents and her midriff is bare and seems covered with pyro vision, which hangs below her chest. She has long dark tresses hanging loosely on her shoulders, flowing with the air. Ninja-like vanishing movements pose her as swift and smart character when she is in the bladestorm state.
Most of her people train as mercenaries and worship King Deshret, one of Sumeru’s three Gods, who died before Traveler’s story began. She is the last character to be revealed from Genshin Impact 3.5 which will be released in March 2023.
Dehya’s character was first launched during the Archon Quest, Chapter 3: Act 1, through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark. These forests have been guarded against the Traveler and Paimon, because of Dunyarzad. Dehya is hired by Homayani to accompany Dunyarzad. The Traveler first comes across her during the first chapter of the Sumeru Archon questline as Dunyarzad’s bodyguard. Fans are wooed by her tough exterior character and inner kindness.
She is closely in touch with Rahman, a fellow Eremite and, a devout follower of the Scarlet King.
Dehya’s Combat Skills
The upcoming Genshin impact character enlists her as a 5-star. The pyro claymore user is set to become playable in update 3.5, though it isn’t completely verifiable.
Talking about Dehya’s full kit- it includes her talent, normal attack, elemental skill, elemental burst, and more. Her role could be suggestive of upgradation to a 5-star character, though it’s just speculation.
Dehya’s Normal Attacks and Elemental skills
She has four normal attacks, along with two extra attacks. Her attacks could be unique charged attacks too.
Dehya’s elemental skill helps her combat Pyro damage over a short duration, even when she is off the field. It is somewhat similar to Fischl’s Oz, who keeps attacking and combating even after being swapped out.
Her elemental skills make her stab Claymore in the ground, to dig a grave. It stays there for a few seconds and targets enemies in the range while coordinating attacks with the active character. It renders one with a defense buff to the player in range. The grave can be recalled at any time and that unleashes an AoE Pyro attack too.
Dehya may enter into a state of ‘bladestorm’, invincible or weather change. It is like a burst state, which changes her elemental skill and dash work. She switches to her unique jumps whenever she uses her skill and dash. It teleports her across the field, rendering AoE pyro damage throughout. She is a viable DPS Genshin Impact character.
Finally, there is word circulating about her Passive skills. It is speculated to be like, Nilou’s except with a pyro/dendro focus.
Many hope that this isn’t the case, as it would severely limit her passive skills. Dehya fans are even disappointed at the lack of leaks around the characters. This could also suggest characters could be overhauled last minute.
All these speculations must be taken with a grain of salt until HoYo verse officially announces Genshin Impact Dehya’s full kit.
Genshin Impact Dehya Elemental Burst
Dehya’s elemental burst reveals her as a wanderer. As her various names suggest, she is powerful and can change her jumping and/or skills too.
Over the burst duration of 3.5 seconds, she damages every 0.4 seconds before relaxing. It is unclear if the damage numbers are fixed too.
Her E and Dash icons also change during the duration of the burst. Using E or dash, when in burst state consumes 3 unique jumps that teleport her across the field. While the jump refreshes, she deals AOE level 2 impulses and pyro damage in a 4m radius.

It’s hard to believe, so many things have happened recently. I wanted to pick out a good present for Dehya and Dunyarzad and had good options too at the Grand Bazaar. But I can’t make up my mind.

I have known Dehya for quite some time, she is an interesting person. Even though she is an extremely strong warrior, she never misses her power.
Whenever Dehya brings any of her Eremites to stay at Aaru village, she makes sure to keep them on their best behavior.
I must say, it makes my life a lot easier. She might look like trouble at first, but the truth is that she is quite adorable.
All the leaked posts mention that the hints, suggestions, and speculations could be subject to change. So, till the launch of the game in March 2023 we will have to rely on credible leakers.
